Eligibility Criteria

Salary & Benefits

If selected for the Hospitality Monitor post, the salary/benefits are as follows:
- Total CTC: ₹30,000 per month (after statutory deductions)
Daily allowance (for on-duty train work):
- More than 12 hours: ₹350/day
- 6–12 hours: ₹245/day
- Less than 6 hours: ₹105/day
- Lodging charges (if night stay): ₹240/day
- National holiday allowance (if working): ₹384/day
Medical insurance:
- Age ≤ 35: ₹1,400/month
- Age 36–50: ₹2,000/month
Security deposit: Selected candidates must submit a demand draft of ₹25,000. If the contract is terminated before one year, the amount is forfeited.
Job Responsibilities
As Hospitality Monitor, your primary tasks will entail overseeing catering services in train and base kitchen settings.
- Mobile catering (on trains): Supervise food preparation and quality on Vande Bharat, mail/express, and tourist trains; supervise mini-pantry cleaning after each trip; and test equipment functionality.
- Static catering (base/cluster kitchens): Ensure food quality, hygiene, pest control, and adequate material supply.
- Customer service and feedback: Handle passenger complaints, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Location: Although largely in the South Central Zone, postings may be made throughout India based on IRCTC requirements (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh), or elsewhere in India.
