Focus: Application of concepts in a portfolio management and wealth planning context.

  • Emphasis on essay-style questions (Constructed Response) + Item sets.
  • High focus on ethics, behavioural finance, and asset allocation strategies.

 

Exam Process: How to Become a CFA Charterholder

1. Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in final year), or 4,000 hours of professional work experience over 3+ years.
  • Valid international passport.

2. Enrol for Level I:

  • Create an account on
  • Pay one-time enrollment fee: $350
  • Exam fee per level: $940–$1,250 (early/standard)

3. Pass All 3 Levels:

  • Level I → Level II → Level III (Sequential)
  • Each level takes approximately. 300–400 hours of prep.

4. Gain Work Experience:

  • 4 years of relevant work experience in investment decision-making.

5. Apply for CFA Charter:

  • Submit work experience and references.
  • Become a CFA charterholder.
